FOSS Overflow is the official website for the annual open-source event at IIT Bhilai. In 2023, I made major modifications across the website to improve structure, visual consistency, and content presentation for participants, mentors, and organizers. The goal was to provide a clear, modern, and event-ready digital surface for announcements, program details, and community engagement.

The problem
Note · 01Event websites evolve quickly and often need frequent updates while registrations, schedules, and content are still changing. The key challenge was improving UX and maintainability without disrupting the live event workflow or slowing down the team’s publishing process.
The approach
Note · 02I worked on major frontend improvements in the Next.js codebase, refining layout flow, page sections, and UI consistency so the site could communicate program details more clearly. The updates focused on readability, responsiveness, and modular page composition to make future event iterations easier for contributors and organizers.
